On Thursday, Golfweek released an exclusive unveiling of the 2024 PGA Tour schedule. It includes 16 “signature” events including the four major championships.

Many of the signature events will not have a 36-hole cut, but the Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Players Championship and the Memorial will feature a Friday afternoon slim down.  Read more

With all the changes that have happened in the last year and more that could be coming to the PGA Tour in the next year or two, one thing seems consistent from year to year on the professional golf tour: the PGA Tour’s West Coast Swing.

According to an exclusive story from GolfWeek, the 2024 PGA Tour schedule is firmed up, and one thing that definitely isn’t changing is the seven-event swing to start the new calendar year. That means the two events in Hawaii, the Sentry Tournament of Champions and Sony Open, will again be followed by The American Express in La Quinta, the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles.  Read more

The PGA Tour’s season of change will see a lot of date shifts, some new sponsors, plenty of no-cut events but a lot of familiarity, based on a copy of the 2024 schedule obtained exclusively by Golfweek.

The Tour will return to a calendar-year season for the first time in a decade with 39 regular season events and a further eight in the post-playoffs fall series. Twelve non-major Tour events have designated status, meaning lucrative purses and limited fields. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will become a designated event as previously reported by Golfweek.  Read more
